The youngest State of India turned 6 yesterday. It has been a moment of pride for many State lovers but the ongoing pandemic and social distancing norms have hindered the celebrations among public.

Nevertheless, the celebrations saw a new turn this year. Several musicians and artistes have come up with heartening songs on the State. One among them is 96 Reels Entertainment, a Youtube page released an energetic song called ‘Telangana Panduga Vachindi’ dedicated to the formation of Telangana.

Produced by Srinivas P and his friends Manohar Burra, Ashok Velde and Nagender, the song is written by Ajay Chandra. Rajesh Raj and Teju Priya have contributed their voice to the song.“I wanted to encourage new talent through the songs we produce. There is a lot of hidden talent which needs a platform like this. Also, the true feeling of Telangana only comes from its own local people. Thus, all these artistes are from Ramagundam and other villages in Telangana,” says Srinivas.

“The video song shares the story behind the formation of Telangana. Additionally, we also described the places in the State with their specialties. Also, it is only after the formation of the State that our artistes from the film industry gained popularity. Beyond that, we have also mentioned the growth of the State with continuous water and electricity supply, schemes likes Rythubandhu, Kalyanalakshmi and so on,” Srinivas adds.

The song has received mixed responses and Dileep Konatham, Director, Digital Media, Government of Telangana tweeted, “On the eve of #TelanganaFormationDay, happy to formally release this soulful song by @96Reels @nchindam and team. #JaiTelangana #జైతెలంగాణhttps://youtu.be/zea2AsG8dzI”.
