Hyderabad, Aug.20 (Hydnow): Senior congress lewder V Hanumantha rao on Tuesday said that it was their Rajiv Gandhi who gave voting rights for all those who have attained 18 years of age. He said that Rajiv took over the responsibility to lead the country after the death of her mother Indira Gandhi and led the country successfully.
He said that it was Rajiv Gandhi who gave reservations to women of the country. He came down heavily on RSS Chief Mohan Bhagavath for talking against reservations. He said that it was unfortunate that the red leaders were trying to take away the reservations from SC, ST and BCs of the country. (Hydnow)
