An Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) seized four gold bars worth Rs.3.46 crore from a flyer at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) at Shamshabad here on Friday night.
The V-shaped gold bars weighing 9.21 kg were concealed in four iron boxes in place of heating coils and the iron boxes were placed in two checked in bags.
Officials have detained the passenger who arrived from Dubai and booked a case against him.
