Hyderabad, Nov.25 (Hydnow): Union Minister Smriti Irani today alleged that TRS led state government along with MIM Party was protecting the illegal immigrant rohingya people who had infiltrated into the country through Bangladesh. Smriti who came to the city to take part in the ongoing election campaign for the upcoming GHMC elections, addressed media persons at the party office.

Speaking on the occasion, she said that law and order issue was a state subject. Citing that the scores of people have sacrificed their lives for the formation Telangana state, she alleged that the ruling TRS Party along with MIM Party destroyed the state after coming to power by misleading the people of the state. She said that there was a need to teach a befitting lesson to the TRS and the MIM party in the upcoming elections.
Referring to the infiltrators problem, she said that the news about the infiltrators had been telecast prominently in all media channels and added that the state government had not taken any action on the issue. She asked the state government as to why it was silent on the issue. She claimed that the city has 75000 illegal immigrants in its limits. She also claimed that the central government had given Rs. 224 crore to the state government but added that CM KCR was lying on the issue. She also claimed that the state government had not sent any comprehensive reports on the recent floods in the state capital.

She reiterated the controversial statement of state BJP president on surgical strike on old city and said that the surgical strike would continue on those who are obstructing the development of the old city.

Commenting on the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, she said that the poor people of the state would have benefited if the scheme was implemented in the state during the corona period. (Hydnow)
