Hyderabad, Aug.8 (Hydnow): Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav along with Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy today said that the government is ready for unanimous decision to conduct the famous Ganesh festival on low key affair due to corona cases.
They discussed on the Ganesh festivities, corona cases, steps being taken to prevent virus spread and need for low key celebrations.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister called upon people to follow Corona protocol and norms to keep away from the virus spread during Ganesh festivities. The meeting is to decide on the modalities for smooth and hassle free conduct of Ganesh festivities he said.

Since statehood the government has been conducting all major festivals on a grand scale the minister said. However due to corona cases we are to follow norms to check its spread during Ganesh festivities, he said. We will conduct another meeting soon on the same to decide on the lower key affair of Ganesh festivities he said.
The minister made an appeal to people not to gather in huge numbers at the sites of Ganesh festivities and temples. They have to wear masks, sanitise hands and make distance from each other to check virus spread during Ganesh festivities, he added.(Hydnow)
