Hyderabad, July 20 (Hydnow): Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao called on Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan at Raj Bhavan here and spoke on three key issues.
They are — to fill up three MLC seats under the Governor quota, new Secretariat construction as the Supreme Court and high court paved way for and the Corona cases on rise and measures to prevent.
According to reports KCR apprised Tamilisai Soundararajan of Corona cases and steps being taken to check virus spread. The meeting gets importance as the Governor has been vocal on the rise in corona cases.
Total Corona cases reached 43780 with fresh 1296 and 415 deceased and 32438 recovered so far.
KCR reportedly offered three names to the Governor for MLCs to be filled up by the Assembly secretariat officials as per procedures on her recommendations.
Whip Karne Prabhakar may get the MLC post again, while KCR is to offer one MLC seat to former Prime Minister, PV Narsimha Rao daughter Vani, according to information.
Also the chief Minister is to pick up his OSD and party loyalist, Deshspathi Srinivas.
While Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy former MP who failed to get MP seat during the last polls may be given the seat. The above names and a few others are doing rounds to be filled up on the nod by the governor. The TRS party boss and the Chief Minister has reportedly offered the three names to the Governor to fill up.
