Amaravati, June 16 (Hydnow): YSR Congress Party introduced annual budged in state assembly for financial year 2020-21. While State finance minister B. Rajendranath Reddy introduced the budget in the state assembly, the deputy chief minister of the state Pilli Subash Chandrabose introduced the budget in the state legislative council.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajendranath Reddy said that the percentage of the annual budget estimates had come down by 1.4 percent viz-a-viz the last year’s annual budget due to the impact of corona virus in the state. He said that the annual budget has been fixed as Rs.2,24,789.19 crore. Of this the revenue expenditure was estimated as Rs.1,80,392.65 crore and the capital expenditure including loan repayments and other capital disbursements was estimatedat around Rs.44,396.54 crore. and added that the revenue deficit stands at Rs.18,434.14 crore. .
The finance minister has said that the estimated revenue deficit was Rs.18,434.14 crore and the fiscal deficit was pegged as Rs.48,295.58 crore. He said that the fiscal deficit of the state would be 4.78 percent of GSDP and added that the revenue deficit would be around 1.82 percent of the GSDP. The revised estimates of the state government had stood at Rs.1.37.518.49 crore for the financial year 2019-20 and the capital expenditure had stood at Rs.12,845.49 crore for the same year. (Hydbow)
