Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao urged people to strictly follow lockdown restrictions for the greater good and cooperate with the State government to put an end to COVID-19. He reiterated that the State government was taking all measures for the safety of people and slowdown the spreading of the epidemic.
Speaking to mediapersons, the Chief Minister said the government was not willing to take any risks and hence, was extending the lockdown till May 7. “There will be no relaxations except for emergency cases or services. The police will implement the measures in a strict manner and have already booked cases against violators as well as seized over 50,000 vehicles,” he said.
