* Hyderabad, September 26:* Commissioner Ronald Rose has directed the sanitation staff to organize garbage collection from house to house properly. On Tuesday, the GHMC Commissioner inspected the ponds and sanitation works in South Zone Rajendranagar Attapur Division at the field level.

The engineering officials were ordered to take up the construction of the footpath on both sides so that the footpaths at Hyder Guda Janapriya’s apartment are not encroached upon .

Commissioner GHMC Sri. Ronald Rose inspected various lakes and sanitation works in Attapur, Rajendra nagar (South Zone) here today.
Commissioner visited the Pedda Thalla Kunta near the Regional Training Institute NACIN, where the officials of the National Academy of Customs & Narcotics and indirect taxes informed the Commissioner, GHMC that under Swachh Bharath, they want to adopt the Pedda Thalla Kunta and take up beautification and Maintain the Lake and requested the Commissioner to give permission. The commissioner asked the customs officials to give a letter in this regard and GHMC will take action accordingly.
Further, the Customs officials also want to take up other developmental activities like water aeration, silt cleaning, and developing greenery. At the request of the local residents, the Commissioner instructed the GHMC officials concerned to provide lighting, fencing, and CC Cameras and also to provide open Gym material. Commissioner interacted with the local residents about door-to-door garbage collection from their houses. Later he visited the area near the Laboratory for the conservation of endangered species and inspected the garbage vulnerable points.
Commissioner, inspected Chintha Kunta park, the morning walkers in the park have complained that the sewage water is flowing inside the park causing foul smells to the nearby residents, and requested to divert the sewage water from entering the park. The Commissioner instructed the EE concerned to look into the matter and rectify the defect and also to provide other required facilities. Later he visited the Janapriya Apartments Hyderguda area and instructed the engineering officials to lay footpaths to avoid encroachments on both sides of the road.
