Hyderabad, Sept 12 (Hydnow): Cyberabad police have busted another ganja racket gang. The accused were caught while transporting ganja. Ganja gans from Maharashtra and Haryana have been arrested. From two gangs Rs. 1228 kg of ganja worth more than Rs. 3 crores, one pistol, and three vehicles were seized.
The accused were transporting ganja from Araku in Andhra Pradesh to Sholapur and Aurangabad via Telangana. They were caught carrying marijuana in two cars. It is said that a gang was chased and caught while transporting ganja in DCM. Police arrested seven people in these two cases. Police said that there have been many cases against the accused in the past.
The Cyberabad Commissioner of Police Stephen Ravindra said that the investigation is on in the case of Rayadurgam SI Rajender’s involvement in any drug case. He said that they are also investigating whether any constables are also involved, He said that SI Rajender has already been suspended in this case. (Hydnow)
