CPI State Secretary K Ramakrishna has strongly criticized the arrest of Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief of the Telugu Desam party. Ramakrishna voiced his concerns about the arrest, urging the police to provide prior notice before taking such actions.
He questioned the timing of the arrest, expressing his disapproval of the police conducting it in the middle of the night, which caused a disturbance. Ramakrishna also raised concerns about the widespread detention of TDP leaders throughout the state, including Nara Lokesh.
Ramakrishna alleged that this arrest sends a negative message and may have consequences for Chief Minister Jagan. However, he confidently stated that Chandrababu’s arrest would not have a significant impact on the TDP party.
