Hyderabad, Aug 30 (Hydnow): ISRO announced that the Chandrayaan 3 mission is continuing successfully. On this occasion, important things were communicated through Twitter. ISRO has announced that it has acquired the Pragyan rover to find sulfur deposits on the surface of the moon’s south pole.

The Laser-induced Breakdown Spectroscope (LIBS) instrument on the rover claims to have detected the presence of sulfur on the Moon’s south pole through the situ measurements for the first time. Along with sulfur, oxygen is also found.

Along with these, aluminum (A1), Calcium (Ca), iron (Fe), chromium (Cr), titanium (Ti), manganese (Mn), and silicon (Si) are also present. But on the other hand, ISRO has tweeted that it is searching for hydrogen. The LIBS instrument was developed at the Laboratory for Electro-Optics Systems (LEOS/ISRO, Bangalore. (Hydnow)
