Kerala Tourism commenced the second phase of domestic marketing campaign with a National Partnership Meet in Hyderabad on Tuesday. This will be followed by events in Visakhapatnam, Kolkata, Delhi, Bengaluru and Chennai, and other cities.
Kerala Tourism Minister Kadakampally Surendran said the meets, coinciding with the upcoming festival season, would provide opportunities for the tourism trade in these cities to interact with tourism industry players from Kerala.
Tourism Secretary Rani George said, “Travellers from across India will find the State not only heritage-rich and enchanting but also a welcoming destination, especially with Vishu, Thrissur Pooram, and a host of other festivals lined up.”
Different tourist attractions such as Jatayu Earth Centre, the concept of Village Life Experience which include a customised experience with serene backwater cruises, calm boat rides, thrilling canoe cruises, Muziris Heritage Project, The Kochi-Muziris Biennale and Spice Route Project that rekindled the 2,000-year-old ancient sea links and shared cultural and culinary legacies with 30 countries, were presented at the event.
