Hyderabad, July 18 (Hydnow): High Court of Telangana today held a hearing on the allotment of 11 acres of land in Kokapet to the ruling BRS party of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. The High Court has issued notices to the government and the BRS party.

It ordered the government and the BRS party to file counters. The High Court took up the hearing on the Public Interest Litigation filed by the Forum for Good Governance. The case has been adjourned to August 16.

It may be recalled that a Public Interest Litigation has been filed in the High Court regarding the allotment of land to the BRS party in Hyderabad. The petitioner filed a plea as to how the most valuable lands will be allocated. The petitioner brought to the notice of the Court that the land worth Rs. 50 crore per acre was allotted for Rs. 3.41 crore and all the land allotment documents were kept secret.
