Hyderabad, July 3 (Maxim News): Top news portal and fact-checking organization ‘Telugupost’ founded by Truth Serum Media has now become a signatory of the International Fact-Checking Network. The IFCN has approved the Telugupost application granting signatory status. www.telugupost.com will continue to debunk disinformation and misinformation in three languages by abiding by the IFCN code of principles.

Since 2017, Telugupost has been into publishing digital news, along with in-depth analysis, covering various categories. Telugupost is known for editorial independence, political neutrality, and organizational integrity.

As an independent digital media platform, with a separate fact-checking unit telugupost.com is now among the 123 signatories of the IFCN and is committed to the code of principles elaborated by the international organization. The IFCN’s code stresses promoting best practices in fact-checking and encourages non-partisanship and transparency.

www.telugupost.com firmly believes in old-fashioned journalism by emphasizing factual reporting and objective analysis on issues of public interest. Ravi Srinivas, a senior journalist, helming the affairs as the editor of Telugupost has been delivering standard journalism to the readers. Srinivas held several key positions in the editorial room during his career spanning 25 years.

On November 21, 2021, Telugupost rolled out its fact check unit and started off with Telugu fact checks. In May 2022, Telugupost started publishing fact checks in English. In May 2023, it expanded and began publishing fact-checks in Urdu too.

The fact check team, led by Satya Priya BN, will continue to debunk misinformation and disinformation spread indiscriminately online.
