Hyderabad, July 19 (Hydnow): Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy today criticized that the centre took an unfortunate decision on water share issue.

Talking to press persons at ministers quarters in the city here, Reddy took a serious exception to the Centre for releasing a gazette notification on the issue. The Minister slammed the centre for conspiring against the state as it becomes a life and death problem. The centre did not help us to construct any project or national status to anyone he charged. Gazette notification by the centre can be considered as against the constitution and will not help he deplored.

Instead of leaving the issue to the tribunal the centre took a wrong decision. It is not acceptable to the people of the state and be withdraw immediately. The centre decision is unilateral and will incur loss to both the states he objected. The new state is happy with construction of its own projects and turn the dreams true to get our waters.

The centre should protect interests if the states and withdraw its decision he demanded. The Minister accused the centre of playing with the lives of the people. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will take a call after a legal opinion to move further. The government will fill up vacant posts and the students have to avoid conflict and prepare for grabbing opportunities. (Hydnow)
