Hyderabad, May 8 (Maxim News) 75 students from Manipur riots hit areas reached the Shamshabad airport, and some more people will come today evening via Kolkata.
The authorities made arrangements to send the students to their respective places. More than 50 people died in the Manipur riots. The Manipur govenrment has imposed a curfew. However, as the riots were not under control, orders were issued to shoot at sight if they were seen.
103 Telangana students studying in different educational institutions including Imphal University in Manipur. The State government sent special planes to bring them here safely. Among these, a flight with 75 students arrived at Shamshabad airport today at 12.30 pm. The rest of the students will be brought to Hyderabad via Kolkata. Two officials from Telangana Bhavan have already been sent to Kolkata to ensure that the students do not face any problems. He said that tickets have been booked for those coming from Kolkata.
