5 Years Imprisonment Sentenced To Hyderabadi Terrorists

Indian-Origin Man Jailed for Defrauding Employer in UK

Delhi/Hyderabad, Aug 26 (Hydnow) The National Investigation Agency (NIA) Delhi court has issued a verdict convicting Hyderabadi terrorists Abdul Basit and Abdul Qadir and sentencing them to 5 years imprisonment.

Both of them were arrested by NIA in 2018. The accused conspired to carry out the blasts through the Abu Dhabi module. The NIA court imposed a fine of Rs. 2000 on both of them and five years imprisonment.

Abdul Basit worked for the ISIS Abu Dhabi module. He tried to attract the youth towards ICC (A new instrument for repressing terrorism), Basit got funds for it from another terrorist Adnan Hussain. Basit arranged visas and passports for the youth through the funds. In 2017, Abdul Qadir was fascinated by Abdul Basit’s interview. Abdul Qadir promoted ISIS ideology. Abdul Qadir attended the ICC programs organized by Abdul Basit. A supplementary chargesheet was filed against both in 2019. (Hydnow)
