Hyderabad, Sept.1 (Maxim News): Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy today stated that about 40 percent of students returned to the schools and colleges on the first day of reopening. She inspected a school at Mallepally in the city near Vijaynagar Colony with officials. The Minister interacted with the students and teachers on the occasion. Sabitha said that the officials were instructed that the mosques are used and sanitization is a must and keep the premises clean. We have asked the officials to ensure that the corona protocols are followed.
As per directions of the high court and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao we have restarted the schools and the colleges today. She said that about 40 percent of the students turned up on the day one and we expect more in future. The officials are maintaining the institutions as per covid-19 norms and ensure that all the students wear masks and sanitise their hands, she said.
As directed by the court and the chief minister the education officials took measures by following Corona protocols. Since mid-day meals are being offered the teaching staff should create awareness among the students and the parents as well, she said.
The Minister hoped that the students are eager to return the schools and the colleges as they were been closed for a long time. (Maxim News)
