Hyderabad, Sept. 1 (Hydnow): GHMC Mayor Gadwal Vijaya Lakshmi has advised Swachh lifting auto drivers to make Hyderabad city clean and green by collecting 100 percent garbage from every house. The mayor handed over raincoats to Swachh Auto drivers at Panwar Hall in GHMC headquarters today.
Speaking on this occasion, the Mayor said that Swachh auto drivers should collect garbage from every house and garbage collection should be done in colonies as well as slum areas. A Swachh auto driver should work responsibly by regularly collecting garbage in their designated area at 4:30 a.m. every day.
She said that action should be taken against those who throw garbage outside against the rules. She said that for the health protection of clean auto drivers, rubber gloves will be provided. T-shirts with dress code, health cards, and necessary infrastructure will be provided. She said that Hyderabad should be kept at the forefront of Swachh Sarvekshan’s ranking.
